Knowbility Consultancy (“Knowbility”) is a boutique firm that provides internal audit, risk management, corporate governance, business transformation and process improvement consulting services, across industry sectors.
Knowbility was established to challenge the traditional approach towards assurance in the GCC region. Clients are demanding real value from consulting firms and Knowbility fills this gap. We identify pain points and control weaknesses and present bespoke recommendations, in line with international best practice and in accordance with local regulations. Stakeholder collaboration is integral to our approach to develop meaningful action plans to ultimately drive sustainable change.
Our strategy is to establish successful long-term partnerships with our clients built around service excellence, trust and transparency. We deliver high quality professional services tailored to the requirements of our clients.
Knowbility has also partnered with TRIO, a financial and accounting services firm. This partnership allows Knowbility to extend its offerings in financial advisory services.

Mary Ann Khalil, CIA, Managing Partner, Knowbility Consultancy
Responsible for the overall firm’s strategy, client relationship, overseeing engagements and quality standards.
American born and raised, Mary Ann is a seasoned consultant. Her extensive experience includes internal audit, risk management, corporate governance, transformation and improvement. She worked in Los Angeles, London and Dubai before settling in Kuwait since 2012, with assignments across North America, Western Europe and Latin America. Key industry coverage includes Oil & Gas, Chemical, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Hospitality and Banking. During her management consultancy career, she worked with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. Mary Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (U.S.A.) and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Fouz Al Khonaini, Partner, Knowbility Consultancy, co-Managing Partner and
CEO of TRIO
Responsible for co-leading TRIO, financial consulting and advisory services.
Fouz is the CEO and co-Managing Partner of TRIO. A successful entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio of businesses including financial consulting and advisory; food & beverage and a beauty holding, Fouz also has experience as an investment product analyst at a reputed national investment bank. Fouz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the American University of Kuwait.
Ali Al Mail, CFA, Partner, Knowbility Consultancy, co-Managing Partner of TRIO
Responsible for co-leading TRIO, financial consulting and advisory services.
Ali is the co-Managing Partner of TRIO. An investment professional with experience in investment management, financial consulting and advisory, Ali is recognized for his asset management, investment advisory and analytics skills. His work experience in London and Kuwait covers investment banking, Investment Authority and Government Sector assignments.
Ali graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kuwait University, with honors distinction. He also attended HEC Paris in a student exchange. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
